 | Dear brothers and sisters, Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Shri Waheguru ji ki Fateh! The purpose of this website is for us , Jatha Nihang Singha, Tarna Dal in company with the Jatha batallions of Misl Shaheedan, Baba Bakala and Baba Naud Singh to introduce ourselves to you and to tell you our history “the Khalsa history” so that that you may develop a greater understanding of the true Khalsa Rehat Maryada, which has sadly been diluted today in most parts of the Sikh community. From the knowledge of this original code of conduct which we maintain and faithfully preserve today, as laid down by, and which can be traced back to the Gurus themselves, we hope that you may be able to enhance your understanding of what “true” khalsa maryada is and maybe, we hope, incorporate this knowledge in to your daily life so as to benefit you, the panth and in fact to carry out “sarbat da bhalla” as Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj desires. |
Aspirations
As touched upon above: to bring to you the wider Sikh sangat, our dear brothers and sisters, a true account of what “we” [The Khalsa] were, what we should be and how this is to be achieved, all in line with the original puraatan maryada of our Gurus and as instructed by them upon their Khalsa panth as can be evinced through multiple original sources such as hand written hukamnamas from the Gurus and other manuscripts written contemporaneously by the Gurus beloved Sikhs.
As custodians of the Gurus traditions and of the “true Khalsa Maryada” our sole aim has been to preserve these traditions,.. this we have done through Akaal Purakhs grace faithfully since the times of our Gurus. In preserving this maryada we have often come under misguided scrutiny and attacks from some within the Panth who believe that what we do is anti Sikh/anti gurmat and alike. Historically we have answered any doubters or those who question our Khalsa traditions appropriately. Today however, we are witnessing a new form of doubt upon the true Khalsa traditions, a doubt which is so far gone that we, the Khalsa find ourselves in the minority and having to justify our Guru ordained traditions to the masses. Dear beloved sangato this, for us, is truly heart breaking... for it was the Khalsa, the Nihang Jathebandis of Tarna Dal, Shaheedi Misl along with battalions of Baba Bakala and Baba Naud Singh, which fought in the van guard for the defence of dharma and for the defence of Khalsa Maryada. It was the Khalsa and most significantly and disproportionately our Jathe Bandis that gave the shaheedian of our Khalsa warriors for the Rakshiya of Dharam, for the Rakshiya of the Khalsa Panth and in order for these traditions to live on, as they do, today within our Dals. We can not and will not let these traditions die as has been our oath to the Gur Khalsa Panth since our inception.
We have vidhvaans and mahapurshas who can assist in any queries which you may have and we encourage you to ask us any questions you may have as to “our Khalsa Maryada”via our interactive section, for we wish for you to join the true Khalsa and for you to come under the umbrella of the True Khalsa panth in line with the original Khalsa Maryada! Over the coming months we hope to hear from you our dear brothers and sisters and we pray that, one day soon, we can stand together under the original Nishaan Sahibs of Dhan Shri Kharagdhaari Pitta , Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib and our Beloved Khalsa General, Dhan Shri Gur Kalghidar Shamsher Pitta, Sarbans Dani, Sahib e Kamal Gur Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, [Nishaan Sahibs which we still preserve in our Dal today], and come as one Gur Khalsa Panth. We look forward to this day.....
